Four Dolphins players will represent their state in the 2026 Under-19 State of Origin clash, with three selected for Queensland and one named in the New South Wales squad.
Brian Pouniu, Cody Starr and Amare Wynyard have been selected for the Queensland Under-19 side, while Toby Batten will line up for New South Wales.
The quartet were all part of their respective Emerging Origin programs earlier this year and have now earned the opportunity to represent their state on the Origin stage.
Their selections mark a significant milestone for each player and highlight the strength of the Dolphins’ pathways program, with young talent continuing to progress through affiliate systems and be recognised among the game's best emerging players.
Queensland will be coached by Darius Boyd, with Andrew McCullough and Jesse Maclean serving as assistant coaches, while New South Wales will be coached by Josh Jackson.
The Under-19 State of Origin clash will be played at North Sydney Oval on Thursday, June 18, with kick-off scheduled for 7:45pm. Queensland will be looking to defend last year's title.
