Queensland Rugby League (QRL) is pleased to announce the Queensland Maroons squad for Game I of the 2026 State of Origin series.
The 20-man Maroons squad enters camp in Brisbane today to begin preparations for the series opener at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on May 27.
The squad includes 14 players who were involved in last year’s series, as well as four players who have earned their debut Maroons jerseys – Jojo Fifita (Gold Coast Titans), Sam Walker (Sydney Roosters), Max Plath (Dolphins) and Briton Nikora (Cronulla Sutherland Sharks).
Dolphins duo Selwyn Cobbo and Thomas Flegler have also earned selection and a return to Origin football after their consistent efforts in the opening 11 rounds of the NRL.
