Dolphins Team List: Round 2 v Dragons

Wayne Bennett has reacted to the Dolphins’ disappointing effort against the Cowboys, making four changes for this weekend’s match against the Dragons.

While two changes have been forced by injuries to Ray Stone and Connelly Lemuelu, both Sean O’Sullivan and Tesi Niu have been left out of the top 17.

Isaiya Katoa comes in at halfback, while former Bulldog Jake Averillo will make his club NRL debut for the Dolphins in the match at Kayo Stadium at 5.15pm on Sunday.

Both Katoa and Averillo played strongly for affiliate club Norths Devils in a Hostplus Cup win over Broncos’ feeder outfit the Burleigh Bears on Saturday.

Max Plath will get his first NRL start in his fourth game, moving from the bench to lock to cover the loss of Stone (concussion), while Jarrod Wallace is on the bench for Lemuelu (knee).
