Wallace back for Battle for Brisbane

Jarrod Wallace will return for the Dolphins to face his original NRL club the Broncos in a huge XXXX Derby clash on Friday night.

Wallace missed the win over the Knights due to personal reasons.

But he has been named to come off the bench in front of a massive crowd against the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium.

His return gives the Dolphins a timely injection of size and experience on the interchange list, with Mark Nicholls and Ray Stone joining youngster Mason Teague on the bench.

Teague earns a spot ahead of utility Kurt Donoghoe, who has been named in jersey number 19.

Felise Kaufusi has been named in the second row pending an appearance at the NRL judiciary tonight.

Kaufusi is chasing a downgrade on a grade two dangerous contact charge that could land him a suspension of four weeks.

However a successful downgrade in front of the panel tonight would leave him with a fine only, and make him eligible to play against the Broncos.

The Dolphins’ backline is unchanged from the side that beat the Knights 36-10 last Friday.
