Donoghoe to miss two weeks

The Dolphins will be without Kurt Donoghoe for at least two games after the utility underwent surgery on the weekend.

Donoghoe had a minor repair on a fractured thumb on Sunday after suffering the injury during the 40-32 Battle For Brisbane win over the Broncos.

But the Fijian international could be back as early as the Round 26 match against the Roosters on Saturday August 29.

“Kurt had the thumb repaired on the weekend and will definitely miss upcoming games against the Sea Eagles and Eels,” said Dolphins’ Head of Performance Jeremy Hickmans.

“The two-to-three week timeline on the injury gives him a real chance of being ready to take on the Roosters later this month.”

Ray Stone will return to the field this week after dealing with a neck complaint.
