The Dolphins can confirm Jake Averillo will depart the Club at the conclusion of the 2026 season, with the versatile back set to join another NRL club from 2027.
Averillo arrived at the Dolphins ahead of the 2024 season and has become an important member of the squad over the past three years.
The 25-year-old has made 54 appearances for the Club to date, scoring 28 tries while showcasing his versatility across a number of positions. Whether in the centres, halves or fullback, Averillo has consistently put the team’s needs first and delivered whenever called upon.
Since joining the Dolphins, Averillo has been a valued contributor both on and off the field, creating many memorable moments in Club colours.
