Brimming with confidence from last week's 50-point victory, the Dolphins head to Townsville in Round 15 for a top-eight clash with the Cowboys at Queensland Country Bank Stadium on Saturday at 7:35 pm.

Highlights Latest

Jake Averillo has been named at fullback with Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow absent from the side after being selected for Queensland in State of Origin game two.

Averillo has been in impressive form in recent weeks, with three try assists in Round 14, and scoring a try while playing at fullback in the Dolphins' 44 to 8 victory over the Bulldogs.

Max Feagai returns to the team at right centre, completing the backline reshuffle, with the remainder of the starting side unchanged from last week.

Max Plath is set to be sidelined after coming from the field in the win over the Dragons, with scans of his knee showing some damage. The exact course of rehabilitation and/or surgery will be known when he visits a specialist next week.

Ray Stone has been named to replace Plath on the interchange bench after being rested last week, with Sean O'Sullivan as 18th man.
