Plath takes 2 weeks with early guilty plea

Dolphins lock Max Plath has taken the early guilty plea and will be sidelined for two weeks after a hip drop tackle against the Titans.

The incident in the 36th minute of the clash has seen Plath charged with a Grade 3 Dangerous Contact offence which carries a two-game ban with an early guilty plea.

Plath will now miss the Dolphins' game against Wests Tigers and away game against the Broncos.

Max Plath hasn't got a dirty bone in his body, so it was never intentional, we don't coach it, we don't talk about it, but if it has gone wrong it's gone wrong and we'll just have to pay the consequences.
