Capras go down to PNG; Redcliffe draw with Blackhawks

The CQ Capras have gone down to the Hunters in PNG while the Redcliffe Dolphins finished with in a draw with the Blackhawks.

PNG Hunters 14 defeated CQ Capras 8

  • Kurt Donoghoe packed down at lock and picked up 108 metres
  • Lachlan Hubner topped the Capras metre count with 182 with 28 tackles
  • Oliver Gildart loomed dangerously again at centre with three offloads and 47 metres out of dummy-half

"I was disappointed with the way we performed, not giving ourselves a chance with a poor completion rate.

Redcliffe Dolphins 24 drew with Townsville Blackhawks 24

  • Tries to Robert Jennings, Jack Bostock and Harrison Graham set Redcliffe up for a grand stand finish
  • Cameron Cullen lasted less than one-minute, leaving for a HIA that will see him miss the next round
