Canberra Raiders' outside back Kain Anderson will become a Dolphin after signing with the club through to the end of 2028.
The 24-year-old will join the Dolphins’ Top 30 squad for pre-season training next month after continuing to build his game through the Canberra’s State Cup system.
Anderson - the brother of former Storm and Broncos and now Warriors player Grant Anderson - made his NRL debut in Round 27 of the 2025 season.
That milestone came when he was called into the Raiders side to face the Dolphins at Kayo Stadium, a venue which will now become his full-time training base.
The debut marked an important step in Anderson’s career after working his way through the NSW Cup competition to get his opportunity at NRL level.
Dolphins’ CEO Terry Reader said Anderson’s signing would add further depth to the club's outside backs.
“Kain has worked hard for this opportunity at NRL level and has shown through his performances in NSW Cup that he has plenty to offer,” Reader said.
“He is a strong outside back who we believe can continue to develop in our system so we are excited to have him joining out Top 30 squad from 2027.
“Kain has already had a taste of NRL football and we’re looking forward to seeing him take the next step in his career here with the Dolphins.”
