Three Dolphins have earned the respect of their peers, with Selwyn Cobbo, Herbie Farnworth and Kurt Donoghoe named in the 2026 RLPA Players’ Dream Team.
The Dolphins are one of the most represented clubs in this year’s side, with three selections in the 14-player team, alongside the Roosters.
Selected through voting by NRL players, the Players’ Dream Team recognises the standout performers in each position across the season.
Cobbo has been named as one of the competition’s two leading wingers following an impressive first season in Dolphins colours.
The 24-year-old has been a constant threat on the edge throughout 2026, scoring 18 tries from 19 appearances and playing a key role in the Dolphins’ charge into their maiden finals series.
Farnworth has once again been recognised as one of the game’s premier centres, earning selection in the Players’ Dream Team for the fourth consecutive season.
His latest selection takes him to four career appearances in the side, joining Nathan Cleary and Cameron Munster with four all-time Dream Team selections.
Rounding out the Dolphins trio is Kurt Donoghoe, who has been voted as the Dream Team’s Impact player.
Donoghoe’s versatility and energy have made him an important part of the Dolphins side throughout the season, with his ability to make an impact from the interchange or when called into the starting side recognised by his fellow players.
The three selections see the Dolphins join the Roosters with the equal-most representatives in the 2026 team.
RLPA CEO Clint Newton OAM said earning recognition from fellow players carried special significance.
“To earn a place in the best team of the year through the votes of the players you compete against each week is a tremendous recognition of their performances,” Newton said.
“The Players’ Dream Team carries enormous significance because it is determined by the players themselves.”
