The Dolphins recently visited A Brave Life, rolling up their sleeves to support vulnerable mothers and their newborns by helping pack Baby Bundles for families doing it tough.
A Brave Life is a Queensland-based charity dedicated to equipping and empowering mothers facing a range of challenges, including perinatal mental health issues, domestic violence, poverty, trauma, family and relationship breakdowns, teenage pregnancy and homelessness.
During the visit, Dolphins players and staff assisted volunteers in preparing Baby Bundles filled with essential items for newborns. Each bundle contains brand new, safe and high-quality products including nappies, wipes, baby wash and newborn clothing, ensuring mothers have the immediate necessities they need when welcoming their baby into the world.
Through its Baby Bundle program, A Brave Life works closely with social workers, midwives and community organisations to ensure support reaches mothers who need it most.
The initiative is built on a simple belief – no mother should be without the essentials needed to give her newborn a healthy start to life.
The visit formed part of the Club’s ongoing commitment to supporting local organisations and strengthening connections within the community.
By lending a helping hand, the Dolphins were proud to play a small role in supporting A Brave Life’s mission of bringing hope, dignity and practical support to vulnerable mothers across Queensland.
