The Dolphins are back at Suncorp Stadium this Sunday, launching their 2026 campaign on home turf against the Rabbitohs.

After a pre-season built on grit, growth and rising expectation, the stage is set for a new chapter with Selwyn Cobbo, Morgan Knowles and Brad Schneider set to pull on the Dolphins jersey for the first time.

Thomas Flegler is back in the NRL after nearly two years sidelined by a shoulder injury, showing strong signs throughout the Pre-Season Challenge. He starts at prop in his long-awaited comeback.

Tom Gilbert also returns, named to start at prop in his first NRL appearance since Round 11 last season. Gilbert will captain the side alongside halfback Isaiya Katoa.

Out wide, Cobbo and Jamayne Isaako take the wings, with last year’s incumbents Herbie Farnworth and Jake Averillo combining again in the centres. Kodi Nikorima partners Katoa in the halves

Reigning 2025 Forward of the Year and Most Consistent Player Kurt Donoghoe earns the nod at hooker while Jeremy Marshall-King comes back from injury.

The interchange features Schneider’s versatility alongside Oryn Keeley, Felise Kaufusi and Trai Fuller, with Seb Su’a and Brent Woolf named in the extended squad.
