Thomas Flegler is back and Dolphins fans won’t have to wait long to feel the impact.

After 677 days on the sideline, the powerhouse prop will make his long-awaited return when the Dolphins host the Titans at Kayo Stadium on Thursday night.

Skipper Tom Gilbert will also make his return from injury wearing the 'C' alongside halfback Isaiya Katoa.

The side blends proven NRL class with exciting new faces and the next wave of Dolphins talent.

All eyes will be on Selwyn Cobbo, who runs out in Dolphins colours for the first time on the wing, while young gun Brian Pouniu earns a start in the centres.

Jake Averillo lines up at fullback, with Brad Schneider to make his first Dolphins appearance in the five-eighth jersey.

In the middle, John Fineanganofo gets the nod at hooker, while English recruit Morgan Knowles starts at lock in his first outing as a Dolphin.

And then there’s Flegler.

Named on the bench, the forward is set to provide instant energy when he enters the contest, a moment more than 18 months in the making.

The interchange will also showcase a host of young and emerging Dolphins, ready to inject speed, power and enthusiasm as the game unfolds.

A pre-season challenge that will show a glimpse of what 2026 can become.
