Settled, confident and thriving: Frank Molo embracing life at the Dolphins

Settled off the field and firing on it, Frank Molo says he is enjoying every moment of his time at the Dolphins, with the club bringing out some of the best football of his career.

After moving back to the area and quickly finding his feet, Molo has embraced both the environment and the culture at the Dolphins, crediting the people around him for helping him settle in seamlessly.

“It’s been awesome,” Molo said. “I’m really enjoying being here. It’s a good club with good people. Being back in Brisbane has helped too my family is settled, I’m settled, and I’m just enjoying my footy.”

That sense of comfort has translated onto the field, with Molo reflecting on the past season as one of his strongest yet.

“I honestly feel like I had one of my best years,” he said. “From the moment I arrived, everyone made me feel welcome. I just took it week by week, enjoyed my footy and let everything else fall into place.”

A strong relationship with the coaching staff has also played a key role in Molo’s resurgence, with trust and understanding forming the foundation of his game.

“I’ve got a really good relationship with Wolfie,” he said. “He knows me as a person and that trust goes a long way. When you feel that support, it makes you want to play your best for the club.”

Looking ahead, Molo is excited by the competition and depth within the Dolphins’ forward pack, welcoming the challenge as the squad continues to build.

“There’s a lot of competition, but we’re all trying to make each other better,” he said. “That’s what you want. When we hit the ground running, it’s going to be a great team to be part of. I’m really looking forward to it.”

As for his role moving forward, Molo remains team-first in his approach.

“I’m happy to do whatever the team needs,” he said. “Whatever works best for the side, that’s what I’ll do.”

With his future firmly in mind, Molo made it clear the Dolphins feel like home.

“I’d love to stay,” he said. “It’s a great club and I believe we’ve got a squad to win the comp over the next year or two. That’s a big reason why I want to be here.”

Confident, settled and motivated, Frank Molo’s journey at the Dolphins is only just getting started and both player and club look set to benefit from what lies ahead.
