The Dolphins are back on the road in round 12, heading to Accor Stadium to take on the Bulldogs this Thursday night at 7:50 pm, in the opening match of the round.

The Dolphins' depth will be tested as they take on the first-place Bulldogs. Tom Gilbert has been ruled out due to injury, and Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow will miss the match after being selected for Queensland in next week's State of Origin Game one.

With Tabuai-Fidow's representative selection, Jake Averillo will shift from centre to fullback to face his former side on Thursday. Averillo has made 16 appearances at fullback in his career, scoring 11 tries in those games.

This reshuffle in the backline will result in Max Feagai making his debut for the Dolphins in the centres. Having joined the team this season, this match will mark Feagai's 24th appearance in the NRL.

Connelly Lemuelu will move into the starting lineup, shifting from the bench to the second row in Gilbert's absence. He will partner with Kulikefu Finefeuiaki, who has been selected for Queensland's extended squad but is expected to play in Thursday's match.

Oryn Keeley will complete the team as the player in jumper number 17, with Sean O'Sullivan named as the 18th man.
