The Dolphins’ first game of the NRL’s 2024 Pre-Season Challenge will be against Queensland rivals the Titans at the Sunshine Coast Stadium on Sunday February 18.

We received tremendous support from Members and fans at our 2023 regular season game on the Sunshine Coast, selling out the venue in under two hours.

A key Dolphins catchment, the Sunny Coast remains a pivotal focus for the club as we continue to build community connections in the Northern Corridor.

The final preparations for round one will come in the home country of many Dolphins stars, New Zealand.

The Dolphins will be expected to play a close full-strength side against the “Wahs”, two weeks out from the first game of the Phins second season.

Said Dolphins CEO, Terry Reader: “What a great way to head into our second NRL season, playing trials in two of the most important regions for rugby league – Central Queensland and the Sunshine Coast.

"We made a commitment to these communities as part of our bid to join the NRL and we are thrilled to continue our efforts in these regions.

“Our final trial against the Warriors in Auckland will provide a tough final hit out against a great team as we continue to weave our new stars Herbie Farnworth, Thomas Flegler and Jake Averillo into the group that did the Dolphins so proud in 2023.”

Ticketing details for each of the trials will be available shortly.

The NRL is expected to release the 2024 draw early next week.
