Dolphins add extra home game at Suncorp Stadium for 2023 members at no charge

Dolphins’ season ticket holders at Suncorp Stadium will get an extra 2024 home game added to their membership at no charge and with no increase on the 2023 price if they renew by November 30.

The Dolphins have added a home match at Suncorp Stadium next year off the back of their bumper crowds this season.

Many doubted the Dolphins would be able to pull big numbers in their first year at the home stadium they share with the Broncos.

But the Dolphins averaged a staggering 32,500 in their seven games at Suncorp Stadium, including drawing the highest crowd of any match across the entire NRL season.

In 2024 the Dolphins’ extra match will mean they will play eight home games at Suncorp Stadium.

In a thank you to inaugural year members who had seven-game and 10-game memberships that included tickets at the stadium, there will be no increase on the 2023 membership price and the eighth game will be complimentary for those who renew before November 30.

All other 2023 members will have the opportunity to upgrade to an eight or 11-game membership prior to the end of November to receive the same benefit.

The renewals for 2024 will open this Monday, September 18.

Dolphins’ chief executive Terry Reader said the decision to not raise prices from 2023 and add a game for those who renew early was a reward.

“We just can’t thank our members enough for the passion they showed in our first year in the NRL,” said Reader.

“To average 32,500 in seven games at the Suncorp Stadium, including making the first Battle For Brisbane with the Broncos in March the biggest match of the year, is simply outstanding.

“Our fans have shown us what they want and an extra game at Suncorp Stadium makes sense in our second year.

“We hope the decision to keep the price at the exact same level for those who renew before December is a great reward and yet another reason to be part of the most exciting new club in Australia.”

The Dolphins will again play three home games at their spiritual home of Kayo Stadium next year.

Members are being urged to renew swiftly, with pricing for eight-game and 11-game memberships to be adjusted to account for the extra game after November 30.
