Kerr to miss final match

The Dolphins will be without local boy Josh Kerr for their final match of the year against the Warriors.

Kerr will miss Saturday’s game against the boys from New Zealand after accepting a one-match suspension.

Kerr has today taken the early guilty plea on a grade two dangerous contact charge.

His clean record as a first-time offender allowed Kerr to receive just a one-match ban, and he will be right to play in round one next year.

Contesting the charge could have meant a two-week ban for the big front rower who was a local junior with the Redcliffe Dolphins.

Saturday’s match at Suncorp Stadium will kick off at 3pm.
