Marshall-King returns in the Battle for Brisbane

Jeremy Marshall-King is on track for a much-awaited comeback to the Dolphins team for the Battle of Brisbane on Saturday.

The Kiwi Test hooker is a huge addition for the Dolphins as they set to face the Broncos in the unfamiliar surrounds of cricket and AFL ground The Gabba.

Marshall-King has hardly been sighted for the Dolphins in the past month because of an AC joint problem.

But after falling just short of playing against the Eels last week, he trained this morning with the squad in the best sign his return is imminent.

Sean O’Sullivan has been named at halfback after making his own comeback from a long-term injury last weekend.

He will partner Isaiya Katoa in the halves, with Kodi Nikorima to provide cover on the bench.

Tesi Niu returns from a couple of weeks playing for Redcliffe in the Queensland Cup and will replace last week’s first gamer Braydon McGrady.

Harrison Graham has been named at 19th man after he made his NRL debut last week in Marshall-King’s absence.
