Kodi Nikorima gets full backing for Dolphins v Dragons

Kodi Nikorima will make the switch to fullback for Thursday night’s sold-out clash with the Dragons.

With Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow to miss the match through Origin duty, Nikorima will patrol the backfield at Kayo Stadium.

It gives Anthony Milford a chance to start after looking sharp in his last two appearances from the bench.

Milford will partner Isaiya Kato in the halves.

Herman Ese’ese has been named to start at prop, with Kenny Bromwich moving to the second row for the suspended Felise Kaufusi.

The Dolphins have a great replacement for unavailable Queensland forward Tom Gilbert, with Ray Stone deputising at lock.

Mark Nicholls returns from a broken thumb on the interchange bench, where Mason Teague and Valynce Te Whare have also been added.

Poasa Faamausili is named as the 18th man.
