Dolphins to celebrate 75-year history with gala dinner

An amazing 75 years of triumph by the Redcliffe Dolphins will be celebrated at a Gala function next month at the club’s spiritual home of Moreton Daily Stadium.

As the Dolphins get ready to ascend to the National Rugby League as the 17th team next year, their history will be remembered on a special night for the club.

Dolphins’ legends will join with today’s heroes to celebrate one of the most successful rugby league teams in Queensland.

A special countdown of some of the greatest moments in the club’s history will entertain guests at the August 12 event.

To provide a familiar touch for Dolphins’ fans, the function will be compered by Redcliffe tragic and famed raconteur and poet Rupert McCall.

He will guide guests through the evening as they enjoy a meal while revelling in the Dolphins’ glory years while seated at tables in the stadium’s Des Webb Stand.

Tickets to the event include a two-course meal and are inclusive of beer, wine and soft drinks.
