Injury Update: Hammer out for a month

The Dolphins will be without Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow for at least a month after he suffered a hamstring injury last night.

Tabuai-Fidow was injured chasing Broncos’ winger Corey Oates on a dead play in the Dolphins’ 28-14 defeat.

Scans today revealed the severity of the injury.

“Hamiso has a grade two tear of his hamstring and that means he will be out at least four weeks and could be as much as six weeks,” said Dolphins’ Head of Performance Jeremy Hickmans.

“The injury is in not too bad a spot, but a player of his speed will have to be carefully rehabilitated.”

Tabuai-Fidow joins a huge Dolphins’ injury list that already includes Thomas Flegler, Herbie Farnworth, Felise Kaufusi, Connelly Lemuelu and Tom Gilbert.

The Dolphins will get lock Max Plath back from suspension for their trip to Darwin where they meet the Eels on Friday.
